General information Rafting Dutch Open Series
The Dutch Open Rafting Series consists of 3 clashes at two different locations;
DORS#1 - Whitewater Course of Dutch Water Dreams in Zoetermeer (The Netherlands)
DORS#2 - river Durance (France)
DORS#3 - Whitewater Course of Dutch Water Dreams in Zoetermeer (The Netherlands)

The competitions of the Dutch Open Rafting Series are open to teams from around the world.
Each team can register for a separate clash. There is no obligation to subscribe for all the three clashes.
BUT a team that wants to win the Champions Title Dutch Open Rafting Series 2012, has to participate in the next three clashes;
DORS#1 - R4 Artifical
DORS#2 - R6 River
DORS#3 - R6 Artificial

It promises to be a spectacular battle between the international teams. However, there is a limit on the maximum number of participants. DO NOT WAIT TOO LONG AND SIGN UP FAST WITH YOUR TEAM.

INFORMATION DUTCH OPEN RAFTING SERIES #2
The Dutch Open Rafting Series #2 will take place in the French Alps on the River Durance from May 24 to 27 May 2012.
On Wednesday May 23 there is a possibility to train with rafting boats of the organization.
The Dutch Open Rafting Series #2 includes 2 categories:
• R4 River
• R6 River

There will be 4 disciplines:
• SPRINT
• Head to Head (H2H)
• SLALOM
• DOWN RIVER

Extra information for the Dutch teams
The R6 competition will also be classified as Dutch R6 Championship 2012 for the Dutch participants.
The Dutch team (Men & Women) that achieves the most points in the R6 Overall Result of the Dutch Open Rafting Series #2 is declared Dutch R6 Rafting Champion 2012. This Dutch Men and Women team may represent the Netherlands at the WRC 2013.

Race Classification
C-level competition according to the IRF Race Rules
NRB competion licence 2012 (€ 10.00 per person, per year) is mandatory for each participant (including the reserve team member).
A NRB competion licence 2012 allows one to participate in all NRB races in 2012.
Competition licences are to be requested via the registration form.

Participation Fee per team
€ 250.00 - R4 participation - May 24-27, 2012
€ 390.00 - R6 participation - May 24-27 mei, 2012
€ 540.00 - R4 & R6 participation - May 24-27, 2012

Participation Fee includes
- Registration & Administration Fee
- Boats from the organization during the training & the races
- T-shirt: if one team subscribes for the R4 AND R6 competition there will be only ONE T-shirt per participant

Participation Fee Excludes
- Transport Châteauroux Les Alpes v.v.
- Accommodation & Meals
- NRB competion licence 2012 is mandatory for each participant (NRB competition licence = € 10.00 per person, per year)

- Race & travel insurance
- Life jacket, helmets, paddels, rafting clothing, first aid equipment, throw bag & knife. May also be rented by the organization.
Rental costs per day: • Life jacket € 2.00 • Helmet € 1.00 • Paddel € 1.50 • Wetsuit € 3.00

Camping costs
€ 5.75 per person, per night
€ 3.95 electricity, per connection, per night

Teams have to register via the registration form.
Registration & payment for the Dutch Open Rafting Series #2 before May 10, 2012.

Exact times of the captain's meetingen will follow.

There is a possibility to train with boats from the organisation on Wednesday 23 May and Thursday 24 May.
Reservation of a training boat is required before May 15, 2012.

At the Rodeo (minimum participation is 5 teams) it is intended that teams appear in an original outfit at the start. The teams will surf on a wave at the Durance. The team with the most original outfit and the best moves on the wave is rewarded with a souvenir.
